Welcome to Woodview Elementary School, where our motto is "Building Excellence and Growing Leaders Every Day."
As the principal, I firmly believe that Every Child has the potential to achieve their goals through hard work and perseverance. Our dedicated staff is committed to ensuring the success of Every Child, and our school community of families and volunteers is an essential part of this effort.
What makes Woodview Elementary School special is our students, families, community, and staff. We are dedicated to teaching at high levels of learning, fostering an environment that stimulates curiosity and a love for learning. Our students develop the Core Characteristics of a T-2-4 Ready Graduate as we strive towards our shared vision of T-2-4 and a bright and successful future.
Our educational philosophy encourages Limitless Curiosity, which means we create an atmosphere that supports all learners. We believe in the power of partnership with parents and prioritize parent involvement. Therefore, we encourage families to volunteer on campus and attend school events throughout the year, including monthly principal coffee gatherings. Chaperones for field trips are wanted, and parents are also encouraged to attend school events during the school year.
Our staff is dedicated to supporting you and your child. We use data extensively to plan for individual student needs and continuously evaluate results. We provide you with the necessary information regarding academics, attendance, discipline, and other important topics via our school website, paper communications, phone calls, social media, weekly grade-level newsletters and updates on the district website. Communication is a vital component of our educational experience, and we urge you to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office with any questions or concerns you may have.
The school website contains essential information and should be used in conjunction with the SBISD Student Handbook. Please take the time to read both thoroughly, and if you have any questions or concerns that are not addressed in the handbook, do not hesitate to contact the school. By working together, we'll ensure success for our learners.
We take great pride in our Beagles, and we are confident that we will have a successful year. Let's continue to encourage each other to do our best and be the best we can be.
Go, Beagles!
